During optical fiber logging operations, the sealing, penetration, connection, and protection of optical cables directly affect construction success rate and data quality. Drawing on years of field experience, ZITN has developed a complete supporting tool system covering all operational scenarios.
The optoelectronic cable head is a key connecting tool for optoelectronic composite cable logging. The optoelectronic cable head developed by ZITN is suitable for Φ12.4mm double-layer armored composite cables. It connects to the cable at the upper end and adopts an EILOG 31-pin standard interface at the lower end, enabling simultaneous transmission of optical and electrical signals to meet power supply and data communication requirements for logging tools.
The optical cable encapsulation sub is designed for steel-tube optical cable logging, suitable for logging operations with Φ4.0mm steel-tube optical cables suspended and weighted. In downhole cabling scenarios for salt cavern gas storage, the optical cable splicing and encapsulation sub enables layered splicing and sealing of downhole optical cables, solving the challenge of continuous optical cable deployment in long well sections.
The optical fiber wellhead penetration and sealing device is key equipment for hanging and penetrating optical cables during wellsite installation. It is suitable for penetration construction of Φ4.0–6.35mm optical cables, ensuring secure fixation of optical cables while maintaining sealing performance. The composite cable torpedo cable head allows rapid on-site connection of Φ9.58mm double-layer armored composite optical cables, greatly improving operational efficiency.
All the above tools have been field-tested in multiple wells and form a complete supporting system with ZITN's DTS/DAS systems, providing full-process engineering support for optical fiber logging operations.
