The measurement accuracy and long-term stability of optical fiber logging systems depend not only on the performance of core components, but also require a sound quality control and calibration testing system as a guarantee. Starting from optical fiber device screening and equipment environmental testing to system calibration, ZITN has established a full-chain quality control process.

At the optical fiber device level, ZITN has implemented strict screening and testing standards. In response to high-temperature and high-pressure downhole operating conditions, specialized tests such as high-temperature aging, pressure cycling, and tensile strength testing are conducted on key components including optical fiber cores, cable armoring layers, and sealing materials, ensuring that core components meet the requirements for long-term downhole service.

At the equipment level, optical fiber DTS/DAS systems undergo a complete environmental testing process, including high-low temperature cycling, temperature-humidity cycling, vibration and shock, and electromagnetic compatibility tests. Test conditions are implemented in strict accordance with industry standards to ensure reliable operation of equipment under extreme working conditions.

At the system calibration level, ZITN has built a calibration platform for optical fiber temperature measurement systems. Using high-precision thermostats and standard thermometers, full-range temperature calibration is performed on DTS systems to ensure a temperature measurement accuracy of ±0.1℃. For optical fiber pressure sensors, piston-type pressure gauges and high-low temperature test chambers are used to complete wide-temperature-range pressure calibration and temperature compensation verification.

The above quality control system runs through the entire process of product design, production and testing, providing a solid guarantee for the long-term stable operation of optical fiber logging systems in complex scenarios such as shale gas, coalbed methane and gas storage reservoirs.
